Last month, Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Already, the Chinese market has received two Snapdragon 8s Gen 4-powered smartphones, such as the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro and the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, which is scheduled to launch this month in China, is also equipped with the said chipset. A new development reveals that Oppo also plans to launch a K-series phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 next month in China

To recall, Oppo recently unveiled the Oppo K12s as the last K12-series phone in China. There have been rumours that the brand is prepping a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4-powered, performance-focused smartphone dubbed the Oppo K13 Turbo for the home market. The said device is expected to rival the likes of the iQOO Z10 Turbo and Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.

As can be seen above, tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that the K-series Turbo phone, which appears to be the Oppo K13 Turbo, is expected to launch in June or July in China. The above Weibo post reiterates the leaked specs of the K13 Turbo..

The Oppo K13 Turbo will feature an active cooling fan, which will be integrated into the camera module as shown in a leaked photo that emerged in April. The device is also said to have an IPX8 rating for water resistance, adding to its durability. For visual appeal, it includes RGB lighting and comes with a plastic mid-frame. For security, it will feature a short-focus optical fingerprint scanner.

The remaining specifications of the Oppo K13 Turbo are still under wraps. There’s also a possibility that the device could launch in global markets. However, there is currently no clarity on what name it will carry for its global release
