The Ace 5 Racing’s design in the live image matches our exclusive renders of the Nord CE 5 that we had shared earlier.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing are set to launch in China next week. However, the Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5 are expected to hit India in July 2025, with potential chipset and spec tweaks tailored for the Indian market. Here’s all you need to know.
The leaked image showcases the Ace 5 Ultra (expected to be the Nord 5) and Ace 5 Racing (expected to be the Nord CE 5), both sporting a similar back design with a sleek, flat glass finish. If we talk about the Ace 5 Ultra’s specs, it is said to feature a 6.83-inch flat LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
The Ace 5 Racing, however, will feature a 6.77-inch OLED panel with 1080p resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, which is similar to the CE 5, as revealed in our exclusive story earlier. The Ace 5 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, with up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage, a 7,000 mAh battery, and 100W fast charging.
The Ace 5 Racing uses the Dimensity 9400e chipset, a 50 MP main camera, a 16 MP selfie camera, a 7,000 mAh battery, and 80W charging.
For India, the Nord CE 5 will switch to the Dimensity 8350 chipset, while the Nord 5 could see a chipset adjustment to better align with pricing, potentially around ₹25,000 and ₹30,000, respectively, competing with the iQOO Neo 10R (₹25,000) and the iQOO Neo 10, launching May 26 at ₹35,000.
